Mahesh Patel (Mahesh) is the Director – Products & Digital Transformation at Hitachi Payment Services. He has over 23 years of experience in technology as well as product development & management and innovations. With his deep understanding of payment systems, he has built business on payment platforms and was closely involved in creating products such as IMPS, AEPS and Rupay with NPCI in the initial stages.

Prior to joining Hitachi Payment Services, he was associated with AGS Transact Technologies Ltd. as CTO and Head Switching and has also worked with organizations like Euronet Services India Pvt. Ltd., Kores India Ltd. and Kingtel Telecom India Pvt Ltd. Mahesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in advance computing from C-DAC, Pune and Diploma of Engineering in Industrial Electronics from BTE, Mumbai.
