Hitachi Payment Services was founded in the year 2008 as Prizm Payment Services by industry veterans. Starting during the recession and working in a highly regulated environment, the founders overcame challenges and capitalized on opportunities.
Acquisition by Hitachi
Hitachi acquired Prizm Payment Services in 2014 with the aim of accelerating the global development of its IT services businesses targeting financial institutions, particularly in the fast growing Asian region.
